The problem might well be the use of ‘#’ (pound/hash sign – how do you call this thing anyway? Seems like every community has another word for it) or ‘_’ (underscore).
‘#’ should be escaped like ‘\#’.
‘_’ can be escaped as ‘\textunderscore{}’ or ‘\_{}’ or you can use the ‘underscore’ package which does the right thing, i.e. escaping underscores in the text and leaving them alone in math mode.
